All disciples of Christ have a common commission, to go and make disciples of the nations. Jesus’ commission was unique, He was ordained to be the savior.

• This is a relational commission: Jesus was intentional about his mission, he related with people on a personal level.
• This is a prophetical commission: Jesus baptism symbolized freedom from sin. Our baptism demonstrated the changes of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
• This is a personal commission: Jesus’ ministry demonstrated a personal relationship with God the father. Our commission is also successful through the Lord’s power.
