The Barn Show an artisan vendor event to support artists, small businesses, musicians, and build community. In October 2017, the Barn Show was created and has grown each year since.
Another aspect of the Barn Show was it became a way to raise money to donate to nonprofits, such as Shores of Grace. An organization that builds and sustains safe homes for women and children who have been victims of abuse and human/sex trafficking in Brazil. We will also be donating to OKC Crisis Nursery. They offer emergency care for children in times of crisis. They exist to prevent children from being exposed to violence, stressful situations, unfit (or last-minute) caregivers, or any other circumstances that can lead to child abuse and neglect. In addition to caring for children, they also equip families with necessities during emergencies, such as clothing, diapers, car seats, etc.
Organizing this event brings a unique opportunity to support small and local businesses while raising money to donate to meaningful causes.
