Summary:
Good Friday appears to be an oxymoron because on that day Jesus was arrested, beaten, and killed. It is only good when viewed from God’s perspective.
- Jesus’ Power: The power Jesus displayed on the cross was a miracle like none other, one predestined since the foundation of the world. He died for us.
- Jesus’ Grace: Two condemned criminals died next to Jesus, one received condemnation and the other grace.
- Jesus’ Victory: The victory we have in our lives is a direct result of Jesus’ victory over sin and death. Because of Him, we have life and purpose.
