Summary:
The revelation John witnessed was revealed by Jesus and helps us better understand what it will be like in heaven.
- Heaven is a real place: John is clear, the things he is experiencing were not a vision but were, in fact, genuine experiences.
- Heaven is full of earthly sinners: No one in heaven was found worthy to open the scroll. Only Jesus could open the scroll and redeem his creation.
- Heaven is made perfect by a savior: The people expected the lion of Judah; they received the lamb of God. Christ sought to redeem all mankind through his sacrifice on the cross.
- Jesus reigns in glory: Every creature in heaven and on earth will one day worship Christ because He put His creation first.
