Summary:
The word “rapture” is not found anywhere in the Bible. However, the idea of Christ returning for his Church can be evidently seen.
- The rapture fits a pattern: There is a linear progression through the book of Revelation. A pattern of events in which Christ will return for His church before the age of tribulation.
- The rapture will happen promptly: Jesus will return for His church without any warning. It will happen suddenly and can happen at any moment.
- The rapture needs to be perceived faithfully: Even though we may not fully understand God or His plan we must live our lives in faith, trusting in his unwavering promises.
