Pain is a valuable teacher. We learn from pain and grow through the experience.

• Jesus understood pain: We worship a God who endured pain on our behalf.
• Pain is normal: The Church suffers because of the message of Christ, it is normal.
• Pain has a purpose: Suffering builds your faith because it requires trust in God.
• Pain is not permanent: We suffer momentary pain but will experience eternal glory.
• Pain is not unlimited: Everyone experiences pain differently and God knows how much pain we can endure.
• Pain is not in charge: God is in control, He directs us, not our circumstances.
